Most wedding videos look the same.

The drone shot of the venue. The slow motion of the dress. The kiss under dramatic music. Beautiful for fifteen seconds, forgotten in a year.

The films we make for Adelaide couples are different because we shoot for the moments between the moments. Your dad wiping his eyes during a speech. Your best friend laughing too hard at the wrong joke. The look you give each other right before the ceremony starts. Real audio, honest editing, and nobody else's idea of what your wedding should sound like.

Wedding films of light, quiet and the moments you'll forget you had, made by a videographer who lives in Adelaide and delivered within 5 weeks.

Your wedding, as it actually felt

Weddings move quickly, and you won't remember all of it. That's the point of the film.

Serkan shoots documentary through the day: quiet, unobtrusive, letting the wedding be the wedding. The editing happens afterwards, cinematically, with pace and structure built around your moments. Every film is cut from scratch, with no template and no preset.

Where we shoot in Adelaide

We cover Adelaide, the country around it and the coast. These are the places we know best.

Adelaide Hills
Mount Lofty House, The Lane Vineyard, Stirling Hotel, Bridgewater Mill. Cool-climate light, eucalyptus canopies and venues with real architectural character, thirty minutes from the city. Late afternoon ceremonies catch the light through the gums.
Barossa Valley
Seppeltsfield, Chateau Tanunda, The Louise, Lambert Estate, Kingsford Homestead. The Barossa films like a set, with stone heritage buildings, long vineyard rows and golden hour light that lasts almost an hour in summer.
Adelaide CBD and North Terrace
Adelaide Botanic Garden, Ayers House, Eos by SkyCity. The Palm House and the Bicentennial Conservatory film beautifully in available light. The cooler months are kindest.
McLaren Vale
Coriole, Beresford Estate, The Currant Shed, Maxwell Wines, Serafino. Close to the city and right against the coast. The sea breeze changes the light quickly and makes backup audio essential for outdoor vows.
Mount Lofty and the summit
Mount Lofty Summit, Cleland Wildlife Park, Mount Lofty Botanic Garden. A panoramic backdrop above the city at sunset, often paired with a Hills ceremony.
Fleurieu Peninsula
Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Goolwa, Middleton, Inman Valley. About ninety minutes from the city. Granite Island and the cliffs around Newland Head film very well in afternoon light, with the wind planned around rather than fought.
Glenelg and the coast
Glenelg Beach, Stamford Grand, The Sebel, Henley Beach. A coastal feel without leaving the metropolitan area. Late light off the water is the strongest natural backlight in Adelaide.
Clare Valley, Carrick Hill and Kangaroo Island
Skillogalee, Sevenhill Cellars, Martindale Hall, Carrick Hill, Southern Ocean Lodge. Further afield and quieter. Travel is itemised in your quote, and for island weddings we usually arrive a day early.

The sound

Lavalier microphones on both of you, a backup recorder at the altar and discreet microphones during the speeches. Clear audio, so your vows stay your vows in five years and not a low hum under the music.

You live the day. We make the film.

★★★★★

We had such a wonderful experience with Jay Chubby Wedding in Melbourne. They captured the most beautiful, heartfelt moments of my husband, our daughter, and myself, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Questions couples ask

How much does a wedding videographer cost in Adelaide?
Our videography collections start at $1,490 for three hours and run to $4,990 for twelve, including a second videographer and an extended documentary film. Every inclusion is on the videography packages page.
How far ahead should we book?
For Adelaide weddings between October and April, Serkan is usually booked 6 to 9 months ahead. Winter and weekday dates often have shorter lead times.
What's the difference between a highlight film and a documentary film?
A highlight film is short, music-led and carefully paced. The documentary is long, keeps full ceremonies and speeches, and uses real audio throughout. Twelve-hour collections include both.
Is drone footage included?
Aerial footage is included in our ten and twelve hour collections when weather, the venue and airspace rules allow. The Hills, the Barossa and McLaren Vale generally permit it; some inner-city venues don't, and we'll tell you upfront.
When will we get our films?
Your films are delivered online within 5 weeks.
Can Serkan work alongside our photographer?
Yes, regularly. Serkan connects with your photographer before the day to plan ceremony angles, portrait timing and how the two of them move during the speeches.
Do you travel?
Travel within 50 km of Adelaide CBD is included. The Hills, McLaren Vale, the Barossa, the Fleurieu and regional venues are itemised in your quote.
Is the music in our film licensed?
Yes. Every film uses licensed music, and you get personal social media rights to everything we deliver, so you can share your films with family and post them online.
